Semi-Converter Firing/Snubber Board for the Locomotive Industry

A and M Electronics, Inc. has served various industries with the assembly and manufacturing of circuit boards for a wide range of applications. An example of this is the semi-converter firing/snubber board that we manufactured for a locomotive application.

Using 2D CAD drawings as our guide, we created this board to our customer’s specifications, employing our expertise of circuit board assembly, component sourcing and soldering with our A.O.I. machine, our Ersa ETS-330F wave soldering machine and SN63/37 solder. After manufacturing was complete, we removed the flux from this board with Trek Triton aqueous cleaner and also packaged it. The final product was 6.50″ long, 6.00″ wide, and .72″ high, and with tightest tolerances of ±0.050″. We can assemble from prototype to production boards like this with scheduled deliveries after receiving the order, in this case shipping to our client in Goleta, California.
